🎣 Kids Fishing Club Fall Academy

6-Week On-Water Fishing Program

Ages 9–14 | Washington, DC

School may be back in session—but the best fishing of the year is just getting started.

The Kids Fishing Club Fall Academy is a six-week immersive fishing program for young anglers who want to continue building their skills long after summer ends.

Every Saturday, campers head out onto the Potomac River with Captain Tim and the Fish The Potomac crew to learn new techniques, target seasonal fish, and gain confidence as anglers.

Unlike a one-week camp, our Fall Academy allows kids to develop real skills over time. They’ll learn how changing weather, tides, water temperature, and seasonal fish movements affect where—and how—we fish.

Whether your child joined our Summer Camp or is picking up a fishing rod for the first time, Fall Academy is the perfect next step.

Fall is one of the absolute best times to fish the Potomac.

Cooling water temperatures mean hungry fish, active feeding patterns, and incredible opportunities to catch:

Kids spend the majority of every session aboard our professionally equipped fishing boats learning exactly how our guides locate and catch fish on the Potomac River.

Each outing combines:

  • Reading electronics & fish finders

  • Seasonal fishing strategies

Each Saturday builds upon the previous week, allowing kids to continually improve throughout the fall season.

👥 Small Groups

We intentionally keep enrollment extremely small.

Only 12 participants are accepted into each Fall Academy session.

This allows every child plenty of one-on-one instruction and maximizes time fishing.

6-Week Program

$1,050 per participant

Includes:

  • Six guided on-the-water fishing sessions

  • Professional instruction

A 50% deposit reserves your child’s spot.

Remaining balance is due before the first session.
