We’ve removed the gear headache. To keep the playing field level and the experience “plug-and-play,” we provide everything you need to land a monster.

Premium Rods & Reels: High-quality, heavy-duty setups maintained by our staff.
Fresh Bait: We provide the best seasonal bait (shad, herring, or eels) so you don’t have to hunt for it.
Tackle & Rigs: All weights, hooks, and leader material are included.

What YOU need to bring:

DC Fishing License: This is the only requirement. You must have a digital or paper copy of your valid DC license on you at all times.
Appropriate Clothing: We fish in the DC evening breeze. Bring a windbreaker and non-slip shoes!

Rules of Conduct

To keep the “New Kickball” spirit alive, we play by a specific set of rules to ensure fairness and fun.

1. The Clock is King

The horn sounds at 6:00 PM SHARP. Any lines in the water before the horn or after the 8:00 PM closing horn will result in a DQ for that night.

2. Scoring & Weigh-Ins

Heaviest Fish Wins: Only your single heaviest Blue Catfish counts toward the nightly leaderboard.
Tie-Breakers: In the event of a tie in weight, the angler who checked in their fish first takes the higher rank.
Handling: Because we provide the gear, we also provide the scales. All fish must be weighed on the official League Scale.

3. Sportsmanship (The “Kickball” Spirit)

This is a social league. Heckling is encouraged; harassment is not.

Respect the “12 Angler” community.
No intentional crowding of another angler’s spot.
Keep the Potomac clean—zero tolerance for littering.
